Michiel Steltman, founder and owner of Disway Solutions, is a passionate entrepreneur and a true "Cloud native".

As director of the DHPA (Dutch Hosting Provider Association) he represent the interests of the 30+ leading hosting companies in NL towards stakeholders such as government, technology- and busines partners. In this capacity he frequently writes and speaks at trade shows, seminars and other events on behalf of the NL online hosting sector.

As an independent consultant he engages with companies in the Netherlands and abroad as a coach, trainer and adviser. His engagement model: "With Confidence in the Cloud" is based on 25+ years in-depth expertise in the IT industry, of which over 15 years in the online sector. This model covers the complete spectrum and all relevant details of the cloud service provider business- and delivery model. With aspects such as culture, organization, finance, marketing and sales, delivery, compliance, service technology and cloud automation.

Typical engagements are coaching companies with an entry into the service provider market, assisting companies with improving their cloud readiness of cloud maturity, assisting companies with GRC (Governance , Compliance and Risk management)

Some Achievements

1983	Developed and launched first official “cable newspaper” in NL
1988	Developed a successful CASE tool suite sold in NL, pioneered and initiated US marketing and sales organisation, leading to an company acquisition/exit.
1995	Put EDM (Electronic Document Management) on the map at various large companies in NL and UK, implemented many large solutions for multinational companies, and created an EDM reference model that is still being used in many enterprises today.
1998	Co-founded Siennax, now SaaSplaza, as CTO. Designed the Siennax hosting platform. And realized the first Systrust and SAS-70 control with which Siennax / SaaSplaza became the first hosting company in Europe to have these reports.
2011-	Put the DHPA on the map as the leading sector organisation for quality hosting companies in the Netherlands.
2011 -	Assists and coaches a variety of EU service providers, resellers and aggregators with designing and improvong their services, business models , organisation and culture, GRC (governance risk management and compliance), cloud automation, and more. (References on request)
